Amazing aircraft. I see this, and it is what the EF-2000 could have been. The Rafale's capabilities far exceed the Eurofighters now. The French have some seriously cool weaponry.

@HudsonM1A2 so when ull get shot and ull loose one of ur engines u leave form battlefield to go to ur base even when u have the second engine?dude....thats not right...cause retreating for any kind of reason of the battlefield is worse than beeing coward and traitor.u have to accomplish ur mission NO MATTER WHAT even if will cost u a very expensive planeor ur life

This chinese aircrafts are more visual near the EF typhoon...with russian engines...

The typhoon is complettly different, the Rafale use in many points more advanced technologies (radar, discretion, engine intakes,etc...) but he is real multirole and very fexible, and a EF on carrier doest exists (need a complete recalculation and reinforcements)

Interessting, i remark some daily give a new nickname "the hammer" to rafale, because its efficience100% with assm bomb (hammer) to splash Gadaffi taret.

Well, I'm brazilian, and truly, I'd rather grab the Rafale! Though twin engines need more maintenace and consume more fuel, the advantages surpass the disadvantages. More thrust and reliability are always welcome. Also, if you get shot by an enemy, if it disables one engine, well, you have the second one to come back home, and hopefully land safely, saving both our taxes and the pilot's life (the ejector seat also works well, but is a "little" more expensive)
