Westerly Rhode Island Flood Water Disaster With Views From The Pawcatuck River Bridge March 30, 2010

I took this video between the hours of 1pm and 4pm on Tuesday March 30, 2010. The shots were taken from the bridge over the Pawcatuck River in downtown Westerly. Also shown is the Up River Cafe. Other shots were of Industrial Drive in Westerly taken from up on the hill on Friendship Street. The shots in Ashaway were taken by the bridge over the Pawcatuck near Comolli Granite and in front of BDA in Bradford.

I used to live in the three story apt. building on the Pawcatuck side of the bridge. I loved that River. I loved living beside it. It made me want to cry when I watched this video.

it got worse. i saw so many things going down the river.

and now that bridge is closed off.

being from westerly, this is really really sad :( i remember that river, and growing up there and never having any issues. this is horrible.

this is insane... Westerly definitely didn't get as much attention as other parts of RI and was just as bad

OF COURSE this would happen while im still in school in Arizona, i wish i was there to do something to help
