    Quite an ignorant statement. Look through some of Anand's games where his opponent doesn't play for draws out of the opening and you'll realise he's anything but "boring".

  • Well there's only a few moves that are strong enough worth mentioning, so the theory is what should be played in the position. It's a game of theory and logic, just because it's logical and boring, doesn't make it a bad game. It's just a test of your power to analyze position and outcome.
