i bought a mantis tiller last year for my allotment great tiller for small areas i tilled all mine approx 25 feet by 18 in half a day but that was with a lot of grass and weeds should be easier this year as plot is covered in weed control fabric, the only fault i found with it it leaves an untilled strip of soil you have to criss cross a bit, i find them best for tilling between rows o0f veg quicker than hoeing

Nice tiller, they do a great job for beds and smaller gardens. Great to use in a compose pile as well.

What a hunk of junk! I've found that in larger gardens, cheaper and better to just hire someone with a real tractor. Had my garden tilled with a 40HP John Deere, 75X60ft space, 3x's over, in 45 minutes, cost $70. Saved my energy for hilling and planting.

You're supposed to pull it backwards.

That fucker runs like a scalded dog

@TrapHunt why oh why would you till a 20ftx30ft garden?..... its for already turned over planting beds.....
The handles are connected the wrong way. The petrol tank should be away from the handles. You pull the machine towards you.

@23asparagus That is how the instructional video shows it--that is how it came from the factory and that is how it is suppose to be. If you turned it around the tines would be turning the wrong way. Sorry you are just wrong--LOL

it looks like a good tiller, but it's not wide enough. it would take 3 days to till a 20ft x 30ft garden.

In reality it would take about 45 minutes but who's counting
