Let Rob Hull guide you through the construction of a Tweed Champ amplifier using TubeDepot.com's down-loadable instruction manual (Copy and paste tubedepot.com/kit-tweedchamp.html to get the PDF). The Tweed Champ is a classic beginner's amp, perfect for beginning guitarists and audio enthusiasts just taking their first step into the larger world of really, really good tone.

  • Great vid!! Ready for vintage tone for small clubs. Can you tell me more about the tele your playing in this video?? American standard or Mexican?? Sounds very Tele....Love it!!

  • @awepluckit - the guitar is a 1986 Japanese tele I bought used in 1988. The bridge p/u is a stacked Seymour Duncan tele humbucker and the neck p/u is a Seymour Duncan vintage rail strat pickup. This is my main "gigging" guitar since the humbuckers eliminate most environmental noise. Of course, it is a fun guitar to play too ...

  • Thanks so much for posting this, this is a great briefing for beginners. Amp sounds great too.

  • @yearginclarke - The amp sounds even better live.
