Nice !

The blower is so powerful that the steam from the cab is getting sucked into the firebox...WOW! Great Footage!! The best footage I've ever seen of a 15F at mainline speed! You do take some magnificent stuff!!!

Absolutely a gem of a recording, thanks so much for uploading.. Pure history and very evocative of real steam in action - love the complete disinterest of punters in the station! Can't believe the wonderful condition of the loco inside and out.One of my favourite videos of all time.... 5 star, can alomost smell the steam and oil! Has the loco been preserved?

Cool ! my dad was a steam driver at Capital Park !

Amazing footage in the dark, memoies of when locos and stokers were up early morning methodically tending their engines and preparing for the day. All fantastic footage!!!*****5

Wow!!! It must feel fantastic in the cab thrasing along like that at high speed - I think for the unexperienced it must be quite terrifying and exhilirating all at once!?
Great job. Was the trip from Pretoria to Germiston and back again?

Well done, nice action and editing. Sure wish I could go along for the ride. Interesting in the cab of a steam engine there is always something leaking steam. I thought the 15F were had fired but we don't see the fireman working much.

Thanks. 15Fs were both hand-fired and mechanical. 15F 3094 is mechanical, with a Class 23 tender.
