This is the last installment for my Wii Video Game tutorial series, originally based on my sxephil video entry..In this tutorial you will learn how to create a custom background using different colors in After Effects CS3, this background will look much like the background I originally had for the wii game video.

Tools Needed:
Adobe After Effects CS3
Basic Knowledge of After Effects

Note: There may be parts in my tutorials where I fast forward through the process in order to keep the tutorial time small in length, but if you have any questions be sure to comment and perhaps I'll be able to help!

  • just a quick tip:

When you want to make a vignet you can double click the elipse tool (when created a new black solid) and that will result in a precise fitted mask. so you dont have to drag it and make it precise..! its easier

  • Nice! Make more Tutorials, about lots of stuff =) It's really easy to follow your guidelines! There are lots of people who aren't able to be "understanded" by the "newbs".

And, what kind of screen recording program are you using?

Thanks, and make sure to make plenty more tutorials! =)
