  • If you listen carefully you'll hear Andre exclaim "yah"! - around minutes 1:09 and 2:52 in a ritardando to excelerando sequence. The two performers are so connected you'll appreciate this rendition to later renditions. There's a flamboyant spontaneity and energetic youthful boldness that leaps out of this 1917 recording that's as fresh today as on the day of its inception. 'Human spirit' is the 'tie that binds' while all else crackles, crumbles and falls. That is the point of this storyboard.
