This video is disturbing and misleading on so many levels. First, saving energy at home does nothing, in the long run, to make energy available somewhere else. Second, what you should be looking at is how crowded that society is and do you want your country to become as crowded as the one in the video?

i am sorry if you find this video disturbing, but what you don't understand is it takes individuals to make a crowd, so if every one saves a little it will go a long way in not only saving energy but the planet in the long run, I guess you come from a country that does not respect both energy and the planet. And secondly what does one individual do about a already crowded. What is shown in the video is what currently exists in Mumbai and not made up.

But of course in reality both your assertions are fundamentally false. You will NOT save the planet by conserving energy; but overcrowding CAN be prevented or reversed.

Well I think you need to do your research and know how does our current energy come about.. most current energy produced comes from damaging the environment of coal mining.. it is time that resources like solar and wind are taken seriously. So saving energy will not save the plant but definitely slow down the damage. As of crowding I would love to know your Ideas on how that can be prevented or reversed.. Your going to reverse the birth process is it.. do let me know..

Thank you for explicitly stating that saving energy will not save the planet. So then I ask you, what's the point in delaying the destruction by a few years if you're still going to destroy it in the end? Unless you're prepared to take the steps necessary to reverse our path to destruction, there's really no point. An the one and only way to do that is to address the population explosion on both national and global levels.
