@Bunnsofsteel Just one of those rivalries, being both from the state of PA I think is what makes the rivalry hit home. Like being from the other side of the tracks so to speak.

When you say way back, do you mean literally like from 1967-present or like in the early 70's or something like that? Because I want to know what made each other teams hate each other. Maybe a fight, an injury, I don't know. I'm just curious.

The Pittsburgh and Philadelphia rivalry goes way back. It is common for teams in the same division to be rivals. Both are good teams and recently Pittsburgh and Philadelphia have met in the playoffs, which fuels the rivalry even more. I am kind of pointing out the obvious, but those are the reasons why they are rivals.
