@colindominy You're dead bloody right. At 15 I say we'd be better off as Aussie back in his time, our lives as Aussies were destroyed of it's uniquness when technology was baught in. R.I.P Dusy Slim.

Slim Dusty .. & his mates Shorty Ranger, Buddy Williams, Stan Coster .. et al .. came from an era in time where hardship was a fact of everyday life (these guys cut their teeth on The Great Depression). This life-experience forged their great characters & their immensely-lovable personas, one & all. They were men of integrity, fair dinkum Aussie blokes, men who called a spade a spade & who didn't tolerate any of the bullshit that so permeates our society today. We won't see their kind again.
