Scything the Lawn

Scything a pass through the lawn, taken with a HatCam, which may not be the way to go, video-wise! The video is unrealistically confusing.

There's a large patch of clover that can be made out being cleared away.

Using a three-foot long blade, because it's tender spring grass now.

I scythe an acre of grass, a little at a time.

It has to be a hobby to take it up.

It's much more gratifying than a lawnmower, power or push.

And it doesn't mind long wet grass.
