@wellerocks I know, what does your father think of how the owner wants to make an S-Class competetor?? Or how he also wants to make Volvo's interiors more upscale?? I think both ideas are excellent but the head of design wants to wait until 2020, bust...

@AdrianC12345 My father is one of the chief engineers at volvo. From his point of view, Geely might have been Volvo's rescue. Ford was pumping money out of Volvo even when Volvo went great, whilst Geely is pumping money into Volvo. They're just planning on making the Chinese Market just as big as the world wide market for Volvo. They're not gonna cancel Volvo in Gothenburg, but they are putting a fresh team in the chinese market.

No S60R is in the works. Too expensive to develop and not a large enough audience...:-(

The S40 and V50 are going away after this year. No replacement has been announced.
