One question, why bother? I have no desire in making stopframe look like cgi!

It's like the magic without the spark, knowing it's cgi gives a wow factor for a few secs and thats it.

I bet a years wages that when you animated your short film that you went back and tweaked!

Now tweaking in stopframe, just a one off performance.

I did enjoy it though.

its not really about that, its about trying too push the limits of 3D Animation, trying to get that 2D/stopmotion feeling that this medium started whit.

its not about imitating anything, animation is animation and its not bound to any specific platform, its just the kind of animation we like to watch and animate.

I can't get other what happens when the rabbit lands at 00:13. The rabbit is falling with it's feet towards the camera, but it morphs the other way around without you even noticing thanks to the rabbits legs being the same exact shape as it's ears. Pure genius.

I must say this is probably the most impressive animation I have ever seen done in 3D. Not only does the character look like he is made of clay, what's even more impressive is the wild animation that I honestly thought was not even possible yet in CGI. Incredible job on this.
