actually, those are knives, not staffs and at the end of each blade is a slight hook on the back end but there are no loops, its actually the skill of the fire knife dancer that keeps the two knives together not the hooks

It says that it's the Samoan Fire knife dance, but it says in the discription that this it Hawaii's best fire knife dancer, as in the guy (Hui Kamalei) is Hawaiian. He credits where it originated from. Regardless, the palagi or any other people don't know the difference between poly's, only we do.
