If you attach a rubber band to the tripod grip and pull that for your pans you will get a smoother pan.

I shoot all my videos on an ex1 and I love it. I shoot lots of restaurants, and the slow motion is a great tool for showcasing beautiful food. Check out any of the Boston Pizza vids and let me know what you think.
