I already have Gold standard whey, a whey isolate. The P90x brand of protein is whey concentrate. I understand isolate abosorbs faster, my question is, should I still drink it even on my rest days? My friend says unused whey will turn to fat or some shit. Idk about that.

Very motivational man, I pretty much did everything you said you did, and I've been on and off with workouts, but it's time I finally push myself. My body is my temple, I gotta take care of it.

I bought a donut, and they gave me a receipt. When will I ever need to prove I bought a donut? Some skeptical friend: "Hey man! Don't you even act like I didn't buy this donut! I have the receipt... damn ... I forgot it... at home... in the filing cabinet... under D... for donut."

What's just as important than protein is to consume some SIMPLE CARBOHYDRATES like sugar, dextrose, maltodextrin. This is to restore glycogen in your muscles post workout.

thanks dude! your vids were pretty informational and i think i can understand more about what to buy at the grocery store now. i just started p90x because i have a job where i sit on my rump all day and i've gained 25 pounds that i don't want...so i need to get back in shape. thanks again and i'm looking forward to more vids :)
Bro your video's are great, very motivational. But the clear peeing part, is true I agree but for those folks who dont know like yourself or I, if you take a multivitamin or anything with high vitamin B in it can make you pee bright yellow :-). Keep the video's going bro!!!!!

@likmyleftnipple Amen! Thanks for that clarification! As said above, the B vitamins will cause a bright yellow color. That's normal! =)

my brother who is a PA(physician assistant) so he is very knowledgeable about nutrition asked me
"but doesnt protein(whey) take around 3 hours or so to digest; if the window is only half an hour to an hour how does it absorb the nutrience?"
can that be explained??

@Heyitsbao I am not a nutritionist but just passing information I have heard and used over the years. The 30 min to hour window is mainly to stress the importance of high quality nutrition during the time your body is recovering after an intense workout. Whether the window is longer could very well be true.

what dietary suppliment would you recommend? i was taking Lipo6 and it wasn't too bad but anything that works better or should i avoid those kind of suppliments?

To be honest I don't recommend any of those fat burning supplements. I just don't think they have been around long enough for sustained clinical trials. IMO, the more natural, the better.
