Novamente utilizando textos da biblia, esta produção é reconhecida pelos membros da companhia como uma exemplo típico da interpretação total por ele almejada. Durante o processo de ensaio, que durou três anos, Grotowski abandona as convenções do teatro tradicional e se envereda pelos caminhos de investigação do ritual.

I had downloaded this video. I was like O_O seeing a thing like this from the Master Gerzy Grotowisky, we all know how rich is this video, a rare oportunity to see a video of something made by Grotowski when he was alive.

Thanks for this. It's difficult to translate such a visceral experience to small screen video, but as a a hint and a record it is invaluable. I saw the performance twice at the Teatr Laboratorium in Poland and both times it left me speechless. The influence this production and the Lab's training has had on me has been enormous, eventually leading me to create my own company some twenty years later - Theatre Group Dzieci.

his method is not useful for both:

for physical theater it is not physical enough.

And for naturalism it would destroy any play.

This method is best for churches where fanatics like to be always on their knees.
