  • can u make a video showing me the the guitar with the back plates off plz

  • Dude i'll try but its probably gonna take a while coz i'm at uni now, so tons of sh*t to worry about. HEHEHE!

  • ya see mine was used when i bought it

good pickups neck ect all legit

but the tremalo was replaced i think

and when i use the wammy bar its not returning back to the rite tune it drops keys if i dive it or pull up the key goes up

i was thinking it needs new springs or a new tremalo

  • Well dude, mine was new when i bought it, and i have no such issues, but i can tell you that the bridges can have so many reasons for doing that, not necessarily because you have to replace something. It could just be the setup or something. I'm not very technical about the bridge so I can't say, but i recommend that you get someone to check it out possibly remove it and put it back, before u think about buying a new one.

  • i think the springs are just old and the memory is gone in them and it causing hte trem to not balance right

  • Dude, I don't know if you already know about this site, but you should ask the guy and read some of the stuff there. He's pro nd replies to mails quick, so I recommend u explain everythin 2 him. I'm sure springs aren't very costly but its a waste if they don't help. The site is:

ibanezrules (i cant include urls in this message so just add the '3w's dot' at the start and the 'dot com' at the end)

  • Thanks for the review. I gotta mention that you dont know how do use the Trem lol. The Roland Cube 30x is a nice amp so the 'sound problems' are not from the amp. i used my friends cube 30x at a small gig and it is very nice amp. Anyway thanks again for puting a pretty complete review of this guitar.

  • great review, although it doesnt sound like my strat, even tho hes comparing it to one. a strat has the pickups mounted on the control plate so theres no wood directly below the strings giving a somewhat nasally soung

  • Man learn how to use a Floating bridge :D by the way good review :P

  • yeah and the fixed edge 3 on the rg2228 8 string sucks ass. it doesnt let u pull any of the strings back enough to properly intonate it. its shit...

  • I know, he was just stating what Dime used to do.

  • MOOBS!!!

  • You dont need to take the whammy to the other side of the bridge. All you have to do is pull up.

  • They're just made with softer metal and the knife edges will eventually wear down faster. They're perfectly fine when they're not worn out though. It's just something I'd rather not have to deal with is all.

  • whats wrong with the pro edge 3? im thinking of getting this guitar with it on

  • That last riff was amazing!
