5 Minute Joomla Tutorial - How to Install a Joomla RocketTheme Rocketlauncher

How to Install a Joomla RocketTheme Rocketlauncher package or Install Joomla Manually.

Prerequisites to this lesson:

1. Create a clean domain folder in your hosting account (if you have multiple domains under one account) or make sure you have a clean root folder under your domain. Either way Joomla should NOT have been installed beforehand.

2. Create a new mysql database. (Write down the exact name of this database.)

3. Create a new user for this database and give it a good password. Assign this user to the database you just created giving it all privileges. (Make sure to write down the exact username and user password.)

4. Upload to the domain folder (root) the zipped rocketlauncher package or core Joomla installation package.

5. Extract the package.

6. Visit the domain url of the site where we just uploaded and extracted the Joomla package to. Follow on screen instructions. After successfully installing Joomla, make sure to delete the folder called "Installation" and the zipped rocketlauncher or core Joomla package.
