My son was born under the same conditions 01/10/2010 he had couple of surgeries may of 2010 and another in sep of 2010 he hasn't had the surgery to replace the lens yet but he has come alone tremendously. and he docent like to where his glasses either!! he is two now and is all over the place!!! I pray that all of our children continue to improve and live normal and healthy lives!!!

i was born with Cataracts and my one month old son was also born with them!!! we are going to have the one in his right eye removed tomorrow!!! i been thru so much with my eyes and just pray he wont have to!!!! i was completely blind when born and the docs say he isnt!! they say he can see so that is some relief to me!!!

I loved the video he is so lucky he got the surgery! Smartest thing you could have ever done cuz it's better to risk being blind then to live with the cataracts for the rest of your life.
Did he have a lens implant, or any other complications? Our daughter is going through the same thing but unilateral and she's had three surgeries so far, another in a month and its very hard watching her go through all of it. I can tell that she is unable to see without a lens, but the lens is so hard with her visits getting it cleaned costantly, patching, and complications.

@jischaeffer No, he did not have a lens implant. He has has glasses, but he can't see through them. But he does not have contacts or a lens implant. That's why were so stunned that he can see! But, im sorry about your daughter. She will make it through, it just takes time. Devon has had 3 surgeries too. Its so hard to get through this stuff, but it will be okay! Hope she will be okay with her vision! :)
