@sprinkler5802 I'm afraid that you are omitting key factors that have contributed to the current state of poverty in Camden$Modern America exist in a state of corporate governance$Meaning that there are no cities or areas in this country that are able to sustain themselves without corporate investment$The few places that do(many of which were in NJ) become the victims of corporate raiders and takeovers(i.e.walmart destroying mom and pop shops coast to coast)City abandoned by corps-->Camden

This country was built on the backs of Black slaves, and their "owners" have successfully held the wealth since then. Of course poor people can't fend for themselves. With what money? This is what happens when politicians overlook the people, police are laid off and the wrong people move in. Gangs spread like viruses. It's hard to clean all of this up, has nothing even to do with the president.. Companies just want people to do the work for cheaper, so they ship the jobs overseas. I come from Rochester, NY. Kodak is out of business, etc. I know how it feels. However, NJ is still the most segregated in the country.. statistically. I live in NJ now.
