Founded by pitcher Eric Pintard, Hugs for Cubs reaches out to children who battle every day against cancer in the hospital. Players from some of the top college programs in the country spend the summer in Santa Barbara playing for the two-time national champion Foresters, but they also give back to the community through surf days, bowling outings, Los Angeles Angels games, and hospital visits, putting smiles on the faces of these brave young men and women. In this video, watch as the Foresters visit Via Christi in Wichita during the 2008 championship run.
