GL 450 SE helicopter, by revmax hobbies.
My flying, so don't expect to much.
The bit we cut of the end of the video is when I got balls up and heli was to far away to see in video anyway.
STD GL 450 SE, STD supplied motor and ESC with Rotor Tech 320mm carbon blades, Align 220mm flybar and light weigh paddles. LiPo is 2100mA 20C, servos CCPM HS65HB and HS56HB on tail with 401 gyro, Spectrum DX7 with AR6100 reciever fitted.

  • Mint flying mate, are you running +11 and -11on your rotor pitch?

  • Sorry I do not use a pitch guage, I just set it up 0 deg by eye when stick is on center and give maximum travel each way without binding.

I realy thing Te GL 450 SE V2 heli is an undiscovered Gem. I do not understand why there ar not mor of them around. Not only did GL copy the Trex 450 SE V2 but they made the GL 450 SE V2 better than the trex.

  • what or motor you ar using a 3500KV brushless motor?

    great 3D fly

  • Thanks.

The motor is the standard 3500kv motor that comes with heli. LiPo is 2100mA 20C.

The heli goes harder with a 25C pack.

  • @revmaxhobbies i have had both a gl450 and a trex 450 and they are nearly a spot on copy of each other.

The only down side to the gl is the gyro and tail servo are not the best i took my 401 gyro and futaba tail servo off my trex and put them on the gl450 and they have stayed there since.. i would agree though i like the gl more then the trex i also dont know why there was not more of them about.

  • is this what you want me to buy next?

  • Not bad set up for the eye! I agree the GL450 is a cracking bit of kit and i would reccomend it to anyone! Keep up the good work! Where do you fly?

  • Nice flying dude.

  • can you do it to with a GL-450S standaart model?

because i want to buy it

  • yummy
