A return to form.

It is the first closed-cockpit Lola sportscar since the Lola T92/10 from the 1992 World Sportscar Championship.

The new Lola is also the first Aston Martin-powered sports prototype since the late 1980s.

The current engine regulations for the LMP1 class give 37.5 % more engine displacement than turbocharged gasoline engines (5.5 vs 4.0 liters). Audi should pull out of the DTM series as it has little future.

Creation Autosportif will be at the 2009 24 Hours of Le Mans with their Creation CA07 Judd. They are trying to relocate from the UK to North Carolina (usa) and compete in the American Le Mans Series.
