@HippyVegetarian Did you watch the same movie? You not getting the humor is fine, since comedy is very subjective, but the movie clearly had a deeper lesson about friendship. The Hangover was more of a meaningless film in my opinion. It did have some chuckle worthy moments, but Bridesmaids had me bursting out in laughter throughout the whole film. And it's been nominated for best screenplay at the Oscars. So yeah, this totally isn't the female Hangover.
