@Binball Thank you for your information and counsel. I do realize things have changed somewhat with English imperial arrogance since they got their rear ends licked out of of most of the countries they tried to subjugate I do hope there will be peace in Ireland. I also hope that Ireland will be a united Nation again one day under an Irish government where all the people, including the Ian Peasley type, will be free Irish citizens in this different and ever changing World.
@frbjoernLA Well guess what, things have changed since then. Very much so. You need to learn that move on and forgive those people because if those attitudes exist anymore, it is in nearly the smallest minority you can find. It's a different world nowadays here in Ireland and for Irish people in England and hopefully you can appreciate that and not put the problems you had with English people from a long time ago onto this generation which is very different.
@Binball We may be having a communications problem. Do you mind if I ask what you mean by: "and certainly wouldn't be behind something like this"? Behind what?? Did you understand the last five words of my comment: "or even decent English people"??. When I existed in England as a teenage Boy for a year. My Aunt pointed out to me in the News Papers, Flats to rent section, the note: "No Irish or Colored need apply" I am sure that was not a sentiment of affection toward the Irish.
@frbjoernLA I understand well what the English did here a long time ago but that is in the past. English people don't hate Irish people and certainly wouldn't be behind something like this.
@Binball We may have a misunderstanding and a different sense of humor. To me, this video demeans Limerick on YouTube and gives the wrong impression of a beautiful City with lots of charm. My comment about the subjugating English was in reference to their brutal occupation of Ireland for hundreds of years before they got booted out, with the exception of the Northern Six Counties. My comments were not intended to insult anyone from the Limerick that I love, or even decent English people!
@frbjoernLA Well being from Limerick myself, being very proud of that and also in exile I genuinely think it's funny and doesn't need to be looked at in any other way. I also think your comments about this being made by English people is quite insulting and completely without foundation. What would English people even care? Most of them don't even know Limerick.
@Binball This video may not be humorous to people who would like to visit Limerick as tourists for their holidays, a needed source of revenue for the Irish economy. Or the Folk who loved Limerick and had to leave for economic reasons and miss it with a passion from 6 thousand miles away. You may also be sensitive enough to to realize that not every person who loves Limerick and the rest of Ireland would consider this video funny. But I guess to each his own! Though Ian Paisley would love it!
Teh second guy speaking uses a harsh 's' noise and it results in something really effeminate. what a queer b01

This video must have been made by a bitter Englishman with an Irish accent, or by a blind drunk Irishman who was paid by an Englishman to make it!!!
