-From, "DJANGO" (Italy, USA, UK, Spain, 1966)
-"DJANGO-KOSTAJA" (Finland)
-"DJANGO, O TROMOKRATIS TOU PASSO-DOBLE" -Greece)

"A coffin-dragging gunslinger enters a town caught between two feuding factions, the KKK and a gang of Mexican Bandits, and is caught up in a struggle against them." -imdb.com

The classic Sergio Corbucci western starring Franco Nero that kicked off the series of films.

Luis Bacalov is an Argentinian composer who scored many classic Italian westerns ("Django") and genre films in the 1960's and '70's. His "The Grand Duel" was re-used in "KILL BILL 1", and his "Summertime Killer" in "KILL BILL 2". He's also famous for the great crime rock score of "Milano Calibro 9", and for the romance "Il Postino/ The Postman".

The guitar is probably Alessandro Alessandroni, although it might possibly be Bruno Battisti D'Amario.

  • @walkmanjoe Knowing how much Tarantino loves the Spaghetti Western and how important this film was for that genre it would be a safe guess. Until then I'm going to listen to this religiously so I can play it in my head while the opening credits roll.

  • @Dro3089 Hopefully, iv been thinking the same thing

  • Ten bucks says this is going to be in Tarantino's "Django Unchained".
