  • if The Takeda manage to capture Noda Castle and then head around to Owari they might still kill Nobunaga.

  • Luck was on Nobunaga's side. Shingen was delayed by internal fights, and died of illness

  • Shingen lost siege of odawara agenst the ujiyasu hojo at the battle of nagashino there are no historical evidende that anyone adviced katsuyori to pull back or retreat and katsuyori succeeded to occupy castle that shingen had failed to and propaply shingen would have done the same mistake at nagashino because the basic knowledge was that musket where useless when raining.

  • among all the senguko lords i always look up to lord shingen takeda

  • BTW does he (Shingen) lose at least one battle?

  • I think if he isn't died beceause of illness or wound in battle he will simply destroy the Oda and probably became new Shogun.

No one can stand him even the best general can only draw with him as Kenshin did but no one can defeat him on the battlefield.

BTW i love that video when they show Shingen as storm which can't be hold back.

    This is epic.

  • @NicholasGeschke 49 not 53? Beceause I always thought he was 53 when he died.

He is 1521-1573 and this is 52-53 years depend how it is count.

IMO he was the best and only Kenshin can fight with him at the same level beceause Tokugawa lost costly to him ( Mikatagahara battle) and Nobunaga can't defeat him and even can't draw with him as Kenshin did.

So simply no one except Kenshin can try to defeat Shingen.

That's why they was so happy when he died in 1573.

  • Takeda Shingen - I honor you. A great man, warlord, poet, statesmen, warrior. He died at age 49 of what we know now as pneumonia. He was succeeded by his son, Takeda Katsuyori. After his death, Uesugi Kenshin supposedly wept at the loss of his rival- its said though they were enemies, the Takeda and Uesugi clans greatly respected each other.

  • @superKOEImania i wouldnt say that it was kakizaki kageie who killed nobushige takeda at kawanakajima tomonobu saito was considered kenshin's most able general and campaigned with him in Etchu, kanto, and shinano. i could go on and on about uesugi's generals, you just hear more about kenshin's deeds because he is always at the front of the armies. Also at the 4th battle of kawanakajima it was kansuke yamamoto's battle plan that kenshin defeated.

  • @fukkemup because katsuyori is retarded and didnt listen to nobufasa, and masakage to retreat and hold out forceing the oda to retreat then pursue the large retreating army.

  • @fukkemup I know, history said so.

  • @ShiroTakahiro yeah but they were slaughtered by the oda at nagashino :)
