hey, if anyone is looking for a really fun song to play, search 'Santeria' by Sublime. its on an electric, but it sounds great acoustic, too. And yeah, i know, its Skaa, but its still good guitar.

@0AnimeMania0 Get a metronome. Start off slowly, and once you perfect your playing at that speed, move up a couple clicks. Also, as boring as they are, method books work wonders. Important: Don't rush your playing. Don't move on to faster or more difficult songs until you are completely comfortable at your level. If you want to improve greatly, you need to spend at least a couple hours a day practicing both sitting down and with a strap.

Hey, man, thanks for these. They're challenging for beginners and really fun to learn quickly for more advanced players.
hey i've been playing guitar for about 3 years now and yes i can follow some songs by looking at the tabs and chords but still not good in strumming but im more into plucking and definitely cannot play by ear. Well i have a question for you when did u start playing guitar? did u play like non stop? do you play by ear now? im just curious cuz i really wanna learn asap and it looks like im on my limit cuz i cant do anythin else but to depend on chords and tabs

Just keep trying to play along with songs that you like, and for a lot of them with trickier strumming patterns you'll just have to start slowly and do it over and over until you become comfortable with the pattern. I did that with Green Day's Good Riddance. It gets easier as you go I got my first guitar on my 16th birthday, I played a lot but typically no more than an hour or 2 per day, and I can usually figure a song out slowly by ear and once I get a good enough feel for it I can play along.

Why does it says part 2 at the very beggining ?
raminuxxx 5 months ago
@raminuxxx I uploaded this when the longest a video could be was 10 minutes, and this was originally 1 video combined with part 2 of this series. So, I had to split it in half and post them separately, hence parts 2 and 3

how did you learn guitar?
TheHiMMAT13 9 months ago
@TheHiMMAT13 I received mine as a gift and just kind of looked up chords and tabs online and taught myself to play them!
