I think that the only thing your doing wrong is not your not whipping your legs and if you swing your arms backward when you sit it gives you more momentum. Also your twisting; trust yourself and go staight back and spring!!!!! I have my back handspring and this really helps!!!!

im in tumbling and i have almost got my back hand spring. u have to through ur arms and give a really big jump. ur arms r supposed to start right straight in front of you and then you swing them back as you jump...it really helps
