  • Where did you find the front Night Site? Is it actually for the slim, or universal?

    Nice video

  • @madejalook17 It's actually a TruGlo universal shotgun sight. It's fiber optic, so it rocks during the day, but doesn't do much for in low light. Between the fiber sight and the laser I figure I've pretty much got both bases covered.

I made a video that gives more details on hooking up the front sight. Search YouTube for "740 fiber optic". It should be the first result or so.

  • So the question is: Now can you get a decent holster??

  • @rcvideoshooter Ah, that is the question, and a good one at that. I personally use a simple Uncle Mike's "ambidextrous Law Enforcement" holster (size 16 I think), that works great for my usage. I'm typically only open carrying while backpacking and in more low volume people areas. If you want a form fitted or better yet, retention holster, you're going to have a tougher time from what I can see. I did see a fitted one on Crimson Trace's own website for about $50 that looked half decent.

  • @sintax77 ..I use a crossbreed holster for my 709 slim...amazing fit.

  • @halford3256 I've heard some nice things about those crossbreeds before. Is your's specifically for the 709 / 740? Or did you experiment and find a certain model that works?

  • Hey man great review. I have a 709 and I love it for deep conceal. I use a pocket holster so the laser should not cause any fitting issues. Think I will pick one up.

  • @sintax77 ..you choose what gun you have and its formed to that specific gun..1 at a time all custom..I think I paid 70 bucks..i forget its on me its so comfortable..and its nearly invisible under a shirt

  • @Master7Zero I was just being a smart ass. It's basically a sticker that says not to shine the laser in your eyes or you could go blind. Of course that would mean you have the gun pointed at your face, which carries it's own health risks.

  • @sintax77 what is that if i may ask.
