He is wrong on the value. Those cars "EQUALLY" packaged cost about the same. The $5000 difference is only because the Taurus he got to test had more options, if you get a base car with a V6 and AWD, the price difference is about $200. Secondly, the rattling he heard was probably some change he left sitting in a storage bin after he grabbed a number 2 from McDonalds. Also, doesn't GM stand for Government Motors by Obama, talk about the "Don't Want It" Factor!!!

@tristanludlow77 Ford pulled apart the dash after this review and found the rattle. I must be very talented indeed to get coins that deep into the car. And for the record I don't like a number from McDonalds.

its funny how the taurus has 102 cubic feet and is classifyed as a large car by the EPA while the camry has 103 cubic feet and is classifyed as a midsize.

@elkhunter77101 This review is just the opinion of one man. Both of these cars have their strengths and weaknesses. One's no better than the other. What it all comes down to is personal taste. If in your mind the Ford won, then it did. Now go buy one. Personally I Ioved the Lacrosse, but at $35k I can't afford one. :>(

why do cars in america have such bad MPG :S, good mpg in europe is 45-55, in america they speak of 30mpg on the highway, i mean you all drive at 50mph no? I can drive at 75mph here and get 42mpg in a 1.6 ford fiesta

@MilibandDavid please!!! Ford makes 10 times better vehicle than any gm piece of shit, they are cheaply made and over priced, at least you can drive a ford over 150,000 miles before you have any type of problem.
