  • Is that ballast or what they sweep off the platforms each night?

  • @Trainbrain1949 Not sure. I guess enginnering works were going on at some part of the line. Maybe this is the old ballast.

  • Those trains are so fucking nosiy, three woke me up this morning between 1am and 3 am they shock my house, normall day trains on the tube hardly make any noise, but these fuckers, i thought fighter jets were flying over

  • Hi. nice catches. Both are ballast trains carrying gravel usually for track work. They work with battery unit locos, because the electric current has to be switched off at night, but some now have the new diesel locos.

  • Pretty good for a mobile phone.
