A man returns home from work one stormy night. After falling asleep in his arm chair he is awoken by a knocking at his door. After opening the door up to an empty street the door continues to knock by itself, and keeps knocking, and keeps knocking...forcing the man to take drastic measures to ensure he is left in peace.
Knock is a 1st year production Co-Directed by Richard Addlesee & David S.Noble.

thats exactly the course i applied for n i had an interview n got an offer.
i may well be going there for this exact course. My stuff would mainly be comedy tho.

This is one of the best student films I've seen and as I am looking at studying the same course at Bolton uni, it also fills me with confidence!
Out of interest... is there any reason you chose Bolton out of the hundreds of other unis offering similar courses?

While this is a good movie, it would have been better if you had directed your actor to "smarten" up his actions. You probably would have built the tension a little better and it would have trimmed some of the excess footage that was not needed.

that was amazing, im thinking of going to bolton to do short film and music video production, what course did you do? and whats it like?

Hi, I'm on Media, Writing and Production. The course is really good fun, it's an even mix of Writing short film/tv/documentary, media study (analyzing film and applying theory) and production, which is basically all elements of production.
I'd recommend the course to anyone interested in getting good hands on experience with film, but also getting a solid understanding of the text.
