  • was that not your ammo box you found in this video? it looked like the same writing on the side of the ammo box as in one of your other videos... also that lake behind looked the same as the other video..

thanks your videos are a great help to ease the searching

  • Yep like stated a few comments below. I was literally trapped two miles from my house and all the major roads were closed because of the ice. You might notice many of the cars seen behind me actually are seen going back the other way later in the video because they hit the road blocks.. So I had to do the best I could with what was in the area. Still had fun because I had not been at that site in over a year and it was not placed where it originally was.

  • Thanks for sharing the experience of geocaching in the winter. We have to deal with a lot of snow where we live here in Northern Utah, so we have times were we have to poke the snow with our walking poles. We do enjoy the chance to go to St. George, UT during the winter, that is always nice to do geocaching there since there isn't any snow there. We usually don't go caching up the surrounding canyons, since most have gate closing the canyon for the winter. Is is diffinitly more challenging.

  • I really like the challenge of geocaching in the winter because it does raise the difficulty so much. I also know it raises the frustration levels as well but boy when you actually do make the fine.. Woot!

  • Nice video.

Today I was geocaching (winter) and one was up the tree, its ok but its now like - 18 Celsius degrees here and windy :/ and lots of snow :D

  • Where are your gaiters?? People, wear gaiters in such conditions. Thay are very useful. No point in beeeing wet to the skin.

  • I like to geo cache, I got my handheld from gpssatnavreviews (.) com

  • HHH? My husband and I are puzzled if we should cache in the winter. He thinks it could be just as easy as it could be just as hard. Easy meaning others that have cached before lead the way to the cache by a snowy trail. And also could be harder as of the snow covered ones make it harder. Whats your personal take on it???
