  • Felix Farmer's funeral was like a mafia funeral with people who hated him showing crocadile tears in a garish and phony display where only money matters.

His rogish and knock-around drinking buddies knew him for what he really was, the good and the bad, and sent him off to his reward like a man. The crude viking funeral afforded him more dignity and brotherly love than the expensive and pretentious celebrity/mafia funeral he was given for the cameras. I think today the news media is similar.

  • thank you so much for uploading!! this is a brilliant movie!!:D

  • wow, thank you so much for posting this movie. i reminds me of my own life. super fab!

  • I never got to see it in the movies, but saw it on either Movie Channel or HBO, its how I want to remember Robert Webber, Robert Preston, Richard Mulligan, and William Holden, they all died too young!!!!!! It is Standard Operational Bullshit, S.O.B., to me a good film by Blake Edwards and Julie Andrews.

  • To have friends like that, truly lucky.

  • "Invasion of the pickle people..." LOL!!

  • that's the commentary's point....pagentry and pretension are horseshit....

  • Thank you for the upload. Great movie!

  • This part of the movie always made me cry. Especially the song Julie Andrews sang. Plus the dog at the end didn't help matters either.

  • @duckwrangler so true man. holden's life ended in tragedy

  • William Holden's saying "So long Pal" still makes me get teary eyed, as after a career of over 40 years and over 70 movies it was his final onscreen line.

  • Thanks Drage. Your efforts are much appreciated. I had this on video tape years ago but ended up wearing the bugger out, it will be nice to have a copy of it again.
