As someone who is attending mass regularly and raising my children catholic, I really do appreciate the work the catholic league does and I normally side with them...but this is silly. I'm going to have to defend Huckabee here.

Some other subliminals: the wine barrels (alcohol) and the treasure chest (money) at the bottom. These are on his right. Also very characteristic of the catholic church.

Maybe all these demons that people keep seeing are really in their head, and they just don't know how to tell the difference between fantasy and reality? I'm not a Huckabee fan, but DAMN!

If people are so inclined to think this "cross" in the clip is a subliminal message to promote Huckabee's faith,
...then people might as well assume Heath Ledger's death was God's reaction to Brokeback Mountain.
(now watch, someone is going to try and rebut me on the grounds of faulty interpretation, and I'm going to laugh).

First, the cross is a cross. A bookshelf is shaped like a crucifix if strategically blocked and shadowed in the shot to resemble one.
Second, the issue is not whether or not Huck is a Christian. The issue is that he is exploiting Christianity for votes

Mr Huckabee...thanks for tarnishing the name of Jesus Christ and setting such a wonderful example for all the bible-illiterate so-called christians who can't tell the difference between a true disciple of Christ and a fake.
