PAF Humbucker - Stowburst

I think this is a interesting result here, I have wound another set of pickups to same spec as my prototypes that were in my GT.

I needed a test guitar and I can't afford a Epiphone so a friend gave me a cheep Les Paul copy made by Eastcoast (Stag) that had a broken headstock as a test guitar for PAFs. I put my pups in it and it sounds exactly the same as my R0!?! I think this proves the point that a good set of pups in any guitar can make ALL the difference!

nice tone very fat and mellow, i bet they would sound great out of phase. Did you replace the caps or tubes in your vibrolux, because it sounds better than before.

@1960sBluesFan The Vibrolux is due a service I think, the only thing I change since last time was a Mullard Gz34. The new pickups make a difference too!
