hey man. i have logic express 7, so i have the exsp24 and not exs24. does that mean i'm unable to create my own samples with my own audio? with the exsp24 is it only possible to use their library of prerecorded samples? thanks.

@MusicProGuides really would like to know how my midi keyboard ( A nord stage) can recognize the EXS24, how do I install the midi?

This guy is fucking annoying.
This is Logic in the video, the Apple version owned and release by Apple. Your version is by eMagic, before Apple bought them and is a much earlier version, so it would not have these instruments.

Your bootleg Windows version of Logic is not even close to the same dynamic program that it became after Apple bought it and directed its modification. I used to call it "Illogic" when it was pre-Apple. Not anymore.

A MIDI keyboard controller will allow you to play any software instrument from Logic within the software. You'll need some kind of audio recording input/output hardware, from something simple like a two-channel device from M-Audio or Mackie, if you want to use XLR microphones and balanced inputs and outputs. You can also simply plug into the ins and outs of your Mac, though that's not the best choice, it will work.
