sure the initial parts are the usual blues stuff but i think lots of relevant licks were thrown in there as well ('feel the pain' albeit the dude admits he momentarily forgot how to play it when he did this) and some good old sonic youth. for a JM those are perfect samples to play.

this is so much better than modern player. I think it's even better than classic player. but, if you want a really great jazzmaster- try an american vintage reissue or the thurston moore signature, stellar guitars. anyway you go, these are great guitars

Why? Because we're tired of the same lame blues lick that over 1,000 guitarists on youtube have ALREADY PLAYED TO DEATH?  My Bloody Valentine: A number of albums and eps and NOT ONE BLOODY BLUES LICK. 20 years after they stopped recording people are still listening to them and talking about them and trying to emulate them.
