@dogboywonder: Not to mention you took an argumentative tone while replying to your own comment. Derrrrrrp.

@dogboywonder: Jumbo frets mean a guitar isn't made for shred? lol, you're about stupid. Most "shred guitars" in fact HAVE jumbo frets on them.

Blues stuff=relevant licks
-
@forshigity5000 Why? Because we're tired of the same lame blues lick that over 1,000 guitarists on youtube have ALREADY PLAYED TO DEATH? My Bloody Valentine: A number of albums and eps and NOT ONE BLOODY BLUES LICK. 20 years after they stopped recording people are still listening to them and talking about them and trying to emulate them.

@dogboywonder count me in the indie snob category then....fuck Buddy Guy...plus this thing has jumbo frets...kind of not meant for shredding by its very design
-
you're playing a jazzmaster all wrong..........you wank..............think surf and tom verlaine and spacemen 3...horrible

nice tone!

thanks for the demo ! so stoked to see Squire putting out guitars that people actually want ! (this & the classic vibe series)

Obviously by the people talking hes just showing off the quality of his gear, idk why people would be so critical of what hes playing. '

Fucking A Andy! Your sounding great! It's Mae btw ;) I'm using my bf account because it was already signed in.
@crhymethinc
yes, he plays some bluesy/metalish wank, but if you got your head out of your ass you'd notice he also plays some dinosaur and sonic youth's titanium expose. no points for you mr indie snob.

@crhymethinc sure the initial parts are the usual blues stuff but i think lots of relevant licks were thrown in there as well ('feel the pain' albeit the dude admits he momentarily forgot how to play it when he did this) and some good old sonic youth. for a JM those are perfect samples to play.
