This is the original movie created by Yakooki for Curse guild. I take no credit for this video. I was asking some friends if they had seen this one and could not find a place it was still maintained. So here it is. This is a great watch and a good reference to the old school raids.

I defeated Nefarian in a 40-man raid 5 years ago and it was fantastic. Vanilla WoW was the epitome of my MMO life.

Nothing since then compares. I played TBC to endgame, and it sucked, and I'm now playing Cata, and it's just not the same!

I doubt Cata raids will ever be as good as this, and for that, I mourn this period of gaming...

@levantos Yeah, I just started playing at the start of Cata, and it seems like players are just zerging raid content due to unoriginal mechanics. I think I'll roll a new character, cap my exp at level 60, and try to find a vanilla raiding guild.

It's a shame the whole epic raid experience was slowly destroyed by Warcraft developers... While Burning Crusade wasn't, in itself, a humongous success for PvE Warcraft players, it was still a step backward. Wrath was just the turning point for the game completely.

Virtually every class was (is) the same, just different colored spells and flashing shit. Introduction of resilience ruined PvP content - competition of gear, not ability. Raid max run down - from 40-player dungeons, to 25 and 10.
