I don't know how the rest of the world felt at the time regarding these terrorist attacks, but I would like to describe many Americans' attitude by modifying a statement made by a French woman in response to 9/11.

On 7/7, we were all Brits...we were all Londoners. Seeing the news reports on the transit attacks brought back so many memories of 9/11. To folks from the UK, just know that we in the US WILL NEVER FORGET.

I think most CCTV cameras are purposefully set to record in low resolutions to reduce the enormous file sizes associated with higher definition to better allow them to temporarily archive.
