Ann's question:
"Understanding we are in lean economic times will you recommend furlough days for Police, Corrections Officers, Paramedics,EMT's and Firefighters? I know in the past that the Mayor's office declared EMS as non essential employees and they had to take furlough days. Also do you have plans to further cut the public safety budgets of LMPD, Metro Corrections, EMS and Fire? Further how do you feel about the back pay owed to Firefighters and the issue of police paying for the use of take home cars. "
