My very first motorcycle ride!

Don't laugh, but prior to this I had never driven a motorcycle before. Now I reaaaally want one!
EDIT: Okay folks, I realize I should have worn a helmet and that failing to do so was stupid. At the time I didn't think I'd need one since I was doing circles at 15 MPH in an empty parking lot. That said, everyone who is criticizing me for not wearing one is correct. Some of you are being dicks about it, and that's fine, because I was in the wrong. Your feedback has been duly noted.

Damn straight our feedback is duly noted. Get a helmet. We all go down. & it's not like you can predict when.
Gotta rub it in. It's the motorcycling way. You'll understand when a nurse rubs in all your black asphalt burns at the hospital. Or maybe you won't because you didn't wear your helmet again and didn't make it past the chalk outline/body bag. But just maybe you'll have over the ankle boots & all your gear. & you'll just get up & say, "Shit that's gonna be expensive to fix." GL, Ride Safe

You look like you picked it up pretty quick, but you should have never got on it without a lid, especially for your first time and on a ninja, that thing could have took off before you could blink, but hey you gotta get in before you can swim so i cant knock you on that.

Do you have to take a course and pass a test in the states?

Thanks! To answer your question, yep, there's a bit of schooling involved before you're allowed to get your motorcycle license. Do they not require that where you're from?
