One of Liza's best films! Too bad the fickle viewing public didn't give it a chance... It is splendid!

Great film ~ Liza's last screen appearance and she's fantastic in it! For some stupid reason this film is not available on dvd.

I love this film and have just bought on DVD from Amazon. I love the 'feel good' element of the film. It's good to watch with friends after dinner or alone on a wintery Sunday afternoon.....it lifts my spirits.

It's a tragedy this is not on dvd! It is such a feel good movie and Liza is beyond amazing (DUH! :) )
They just showed this on TCM and I'm so thankful I got it on Tivo!
Robert Osborne's introduction to it was great! He really raves about it!

@EuroTom1 ~ Liza really looks nothing lkie Judy, though she has her mannerisms. Liza is a dead ringer for her father, Vincente.

liza may you are an amazing talent. Paramout studio changed the release date of the movie. Liza had her show at Radio city music hall set to runjust before the movie opened and the idiots at Paramount changed the release date. Thisovie should of been a huge hit, It was big in England people were lined up for miles princess di was at the london premire, Liza we love ya!!
Was this in the film? I've seen the film a couple of times but can't remember this bit -or much of the film for that matter.
Luved it! Big grin on my face when she come out form behind the screen wearing the blue outfit, she looks great, also the bit with the black girl, and the guy with the rubber legs... wasn't he also in that Sondheim celebration where Liza sings the madonna song from Dick Tracy?

Yes, this was in the film, at the end, just before the credits. Sorry the color is a bit greenish, but I still don't know how to put it better (I'll find out, don't worry) and yes the guy appeared in that Sondheim celebration, conducting the orchestra while Karen Ziemba kind of seduced him from the piano chair singing Sooner or Later from Dick Tracy. Glad that you like it.
