F.A.Q.

Q. I get "Unable to bind tcp socket".
A. Restart your computer and router.

Q.After editing the INI, the settings don't show on the server!
A.Close the server before editing your INI file again.
also make sure to not rename the file when you save.

Q.How many slots is this free server.
A.Max slots is 8

Q.What is DZM or DMZPlus mode?
A.Dmz mode allows all incoming connections through your router,
and makes it so you don't need to port forward.

Q.My friend cannot connect!
A.Give your friend the ip from whatismyip.com and the port 3784
after opening your ports.

Q.My router is different than yours.
A.Visit http://www.portforward.com for your router
instructions.

Q.What is my port numer?
A.Port will always be 3784 for a free server

Q.After running the server, I cannot connect.
A.Keep the "Ventrilo Server" window open.

Q.Is there a way to have the server running without that window?
A.Sure, Go to All Programs-VentSrv-Service-install.

If I open a ventrilo server and want it to be up pretty much 24/7, is it only my router that has to be on 24/7?

And also, does hosting a ventrilo server take alot of your internet capacitity?

@ESGamingGroup people who are having the Problem message it is probably due to the fact you did the wrong ip.

You need your external IP... Just google my external ip
