  • Is this a trip from Pokhara to Kathmandu? I could not quite understand her pronunciation of the city of origin for the bus trip.

  • i am from nepal... i know kathmandu is polluted and pokhara is ike a paradise. only thing i did not like was you saw only the accident and the crowds but you missed all the beautiful scenaries on the way.... try to look at the positive sides before going to negative sides of any country...if you only see pollutiond and the crowds in the developing country and you do not enjoy it then stop making programmes and giving total false impression.. please

  • This is the only negative lonelyplanet youtube feature that I've seen thus far... I can't speak for their books, but try watching some of their other videos.

  • yes, you could have enjoyed the view, relaxed and immersed yourself in the culture. but i guess bitching about everything works just as well too - at least where you're from.

  • Shut up and try to get along ... chill ....khateni ....

  • I would hate to travel with her, never heard someone complain that much... you're in Kathmandu... chill!

  • I would hate to travel with her

  • I was in Nepal in 1987 trekking on the Annapuna circuit up to the Thorung La. We had to turn back because of heavy snow. Spent many days in Manang Hilton. It was many years ago when I was younger. Maybe someday I will finish the trek and get to see the village of Muktinath. Nepalese were so nice... I hope they have peace now.

  • you shouldn't go to a country and try to experience it's culture with the mentality of an art snob, as if they have to 'make you happy'. thats how life is, the good the bad and the ugly.

  • good job guyzzz but yea i cant understand wh y u are after the negative facts!!!!!!!! there is petty much good thing in the same polluted kathmandu...may be your pollutd eyes just saw the bad thing !!!!!

  • hahha.. great work Nick and Christina,.. would be great to meet you guys and know your experience of my country.. miss those traffic jams being abroad :(

  • Quit complaining! Do what that truck says: Have a break, have a Kit Kat! Took the exact same journey a few months ago, although we were lucky not to run into any delays or problems. I wouldn't have mind anyway the scenery and landscapes a long the way were great!

  • oh come on..but i enjoyed the video. getting stuck in a traffic jam? that's just part of the spirit of the whole region. and bitching around evenly belongs to the western lifestyle :-)
