Like You Said yourself In Your Kobashi Chronicle Video SD: "No one Get's up From The Burning Hammer... No one!"
-
Change the description, because Kobashi indeed innovated the Inverted Death Valley Driver
-
I love how the crowd goes nuts in anticipation, even during the setup of the move.
-
the wrist clutch version actually looks safer to perform for some reason.

2:29 BURNING HAMBURGER!!!

very nice!

@Jikk Perry Saturn in WCW called it the DVD and that is where your "Translation error" comes from. The industry just went with what he called it instead of sticking with Kenta's DVB name.
-
The industry didn't choose anything, they just suck ass at translating wrestler, and move names from overseas. It has, and will always be the Death Valley Bomb.
-
@TheSuicidalDragon While you are right in theory that its a Death Valley Bomb and not Death Valley Driver... the industry choose Driver over Bomb for the naming process... Bomb sounded better but I guess DVD is easier to say the DVB
Would that first one be considered a inverted/reverse death valley driver (or possibly bomb)?
Not sure. I know one of my CAWs used a similar move as a finisher and I'm pretty sure it was labered as that.

Has Kobashi always been a face ?

For the most part, yes. He's worked heelish in the past, but I don't think he's ever been full blown heel.
